Modes of nervous system
Our nervous system performs its functions of coordination, sensation, and controlling various conscious and unconscious activities. The human nervous system works mainly in two modes.
i): Parasympathetic mode: It is the eat and digest mode, in which blood mostly regulated towards body viscera (body organs like intestine), so that body organs work more efficiently.
ii): Sympathetic mode: It is fright and flight mode, in which blood mostly regulated towards muscles, so that muscles may work more efficiently.
Mostly body remains in parasympathetic mode so that body organs may work properly, for example when blood perfusion is appropriate towards nervous system, it works more efficiently, one may develop good concentration, and have better observation etc.

In the emergency conditions sympathetic mode is switched on, more blood is regulated towards muscles so one may properly handle emergency situation.
In an adult average blood volume is about 4.5 to 5.7 liters, in the sympathetic mode, when more blood is regulated towards muscles, lesser blood is available for visceral blood supply, so one may face certain issues like mental fogging, constipation etc. While, in case of Parasympathetic mode more blood is regulated towards body organs, and one may not handle an emergency condition, like running away from danger.
People having sympathetic overtone may have sweaty palms, constipation, faster heart rate etc. Such conditions may be improved by breathing deeply for 60 seconds, sweaty palms may be handled by applying talcum powder. such conditions may also get improved by taking carom seed tea ( take just a pinch of carom seed in a cup of water and boil it)
People having parasympathetic overtone may feel sinking of heart, slow heart, diarrhea, etc. slow heart may get improved by taking tea.
