What is the difference between angina and heart failure

Angina means poor blood supply to heart muscles, while on the other hand heart failure means weakness of heart muscles that makes the heart incapalbe to push the blood throughout the body.

Angina pectoris may occur due to plaque accumulation in coronary arteries (blood vessels that supply blood to heart muscles), or it may happen if a blood clot traps inside these vessels, or by vascular spasm (contraction) in coronary vessels.

On the other hand heart failure may be caused by a previous cardiac event (damage), Cardiomyopathy by mismanaged diabetes, Coronary artery disease and other reasons.
