Which things make your immunity weaker

Nowadays viral infections are getting very common. It is important to note that virus is an opportunist (which can infect only weaker immunity), and they can only infect people with weaker immunity.

Our lifestyle is very important in maintaining the immunity, the things that weakens the immunity may include:

  • First of all, it is important to understand that immunity is provided by blood and poor perfusion, quantity, or quality of blood is important case of weakened immunity.
  •  Chronic stress causes to release cortisol (stress hormone), which dysregulates immune cells functioning and hence weakens immunity.
  • Smoking and vaping damages physical barriers which prevents the pathogens to enter in body, moreover smoking decreases oxygen carrying capacity of blood, that weaken the body further.
  •  Alcohol consumption damages gut bacteria, which play important role in strengthening of immunity, moreover alcohol consumption itself weakens immunity regulating cells.
  • Sedentary lifestyle plays important role in weakening of immunity as physical activity enhances blood flow and perfusion and hence immunity and lack of appropriate physical activity weakens immunity.
  •  High sugar intake can cause zinc deficiency, that is important in maintaining immunity.
  • Low proteins in food can cause poor quality antibodies and poor barriers against pathogens, and hence makes immunity weaker.

So it is very important to have balanced diet, proper physical activity, maintaining hygiene to keep healthy immunity.
