Common complications associated with cardiac health
Common complications associated with heart, involve:
i) Insufficient blood supply to cardiac tissues.
ii) Cardiac muscle weakness.
iii)Abnormal conductance of electrical signals.
Insufficient blood supply to cardiac tissue occurs mostly due to plaque accumulation in coronary arteries, the arteries that supply blood to heart tissues. Foods rich in HDL helps to prevent plaque accumulation. Foods like EXTRA virgin olive oil, avocados, walnuts, and flaxseeds are rich in HDL.
5 to 10 grams of soluble fiber in food in a day, every day helps to lower cholesterol, which causes plaque accumulation in blood vessels. Foods like sweet potatoes, kidney beans, chickpeas, broccoli, apples, and oats are very rich in soluble fiber.
Aerobic exercises help to strengthen heart, walking, jogging, cycling, and swimming are good aerobic exercises to strengthen heart.
Age related sclerosis(hardening of soft tissue by calcium deposition), acute ischemia(restricted oxygen supply to tissues), or infarction are some of the common causes of abnormal conductance of electrical signals in heart, that may disturb normal rhythm of heart.
